I'm a wee bit late with my Dubai posts, which I have visited during the Eid holiday, as I've been quite busy lately with some side projects. There is just not enough time to get everything done, need to work on my time management skills. Oh well, you know what they say, better late than never. So in this post I'll be sharing with you some few evening gowns and cocktail dresses which took my breath away, three of which I've spotted at Symphony Boutique located at Dubai Mall. Check out this glamorous Zac Posen (if my memory serves me right) strapless gown shown in the photo above, I know that Zac Posen is stocked in AlOthman boutique as well, not sure if they have this one in stock. Symphony also had this extravagant red gown with puff embroidered sleeves on the window display also by Zac Posen.
And while shopping around Bloomingdale's Dubai, I spotted this block-colored cocktail dress which looked very familiar and then when I read the brand's name Fausto Puglisi, Anna Dello Russo's image immediately popped into my head. She's definitely the one who introduced us to this sassy brand. Not sure if I'd wear the brand though.
Oscar de la Renta's boutique in Dubai Mall had this fancy evening gown that looked like cotton candy, and I mean this in a good way! It's not something I personally would wear, I feel it's more suitable for a wedding host or on the red carpet. And last but not least, a hot fuchsia gown by Christian Siriano was another evening gown hit, it looked perfect, not too over-the-top yet very fancy and glamorous. Luv!
So what is your evening gowns and cocktail dresses shopping strategy? Do you buy one every season just in case you get invited to a wedding or a party? Or do you tend to play it by ears?
