Last night I passed by DarUsha, a multi-brand boutique for anyone who's looking for colorful caftans, Muhajababe-friendly clothes, and classy evening wear, to attend their indoor garden party celebrating the launch of Jeddah-based Boutique Sotra and its line of most-wanted turbans, cute collars, and simple-yet-sweet caftans.
I was hoping to get a closer look of the Knot or the arch turbans and try them out, I wasn't so sure if I'd pull the look off, but I was interested to find out. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Due to my prior commitments I came in a bit too late, so most, if not all, of Sotra's turban were already sold out. And according to PLTQ8, who organized the event, the turbans were sold out in 10 minutes of the opening.
So I browsed the freshly decorated boutique and took a closer look of its selection. Including Anaikka's rich and heavily embroidered metallic neck pieces, bolero jackets, and harnesses. They're quite fierce and I think they require a certain persona to pull them off. If they look familiar, Anaikka's pieces were used as part of the dancers' costumes at Madonna's Super Bowl halftime
show performance. Scroll down for more of DarUsha's event and fashion highlights.
DarUsha is located at Burj Jassim in Kuwait City opposite to Discovery Mall.

Try out Samsaara boutique in Zahra Centre! They may have something you're interested in. A while back, Ritu Kumar was hugely popular in Kuwait but I don't know if she still has her own stand alone store for pret fashion; much less if any boutiques in the country carry her label anymore.
