Copy Cat: Liz's Heels

Sometimes pictures can be deceiving, especially when the picture is taken by a stylish blogger who can pretty much pull off anything, Like Liz

Liz, one of my favorite bloggers, is a Los Angeles-based fashionista and a personal style blogger with an impeccable taste. Whenever I have free time, I check out her blog titled Late Afternoon and marvel on how well she mixes high-street and high-end. Just recently, she has featured these gorgeous python/suede/leather heels with tassel detail (shown in the first photo). I immidiately thought there were by a designer brand but while reading her post, I came to know that the heels were actually from Zara!! So far, very impressed!

The next day I go to Zara, I spot the same Zara heels, try them on. Nope, not the same effect, and man they looked REALLY bad on me! Oh well.... I guess that's a brownie point for me for saving some money!! Seriously I'm working on my spending habits! So wish me luck!.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. Have you read it? If yes, what do you think of it?

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
