Dubai-based and India-born designer Shrekahnth, who’s signature bold and graphic prints of Islamic art dominates his designs, has recently unveiled his latest collection at Dubai fashion Week. Inspired by the travels of 14th century Arab traveler Ibn Battuta, the collection has the perfect mix of east meets west with its modern dresses and traditional kaftans. And since Ramadan is only 3 months away, here’s a sneak peek of Shrekahnth’s kaftans. I like the sea wave print on the first picture and my favorite would have to be the boho-chic Persian carpet print kaftan on the last pic.
