Max-ing It

I know that connecting Blaire Waldorf to some fashion item or post is overdone, but seriously when I saw this Max Mara cocktail grey dress with huge cascading ruffles and a satin red rose belt, all I could think of is that B would have snatched this dress at a glance. If you're not into GG, you can take her style, and spin it your way. Start with the heels and you can work from there. For example you can add edgier accessories to make the outfit look less preppy.


And I can totally see Lily van der Woodsen in this black coat with huge applique satin roses.

I loved the gray dress ,tried it on but it was a bit tight & they were sold out of the next size .I can say that the dress was very flattering .

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
