What to Look for at Aïshti

So you're probably aware that the Lebanese luxury department chain store Aïshti is now open at the Avenues. Honestly, I was slightly disappointed with the selection of clothes. However, I there are some items worth checking/shopping for:
  1. Affordable nice collection of fur coats and capes by french brand Yves Salomon similar to the ones featured here
  2. Alice + Olivia's tuxedo embroidered jackets and retro-inspired dresses & tops
  3. Isabel Marant's effortlessly cool tops and casual chic jackets
  4. Burberry Prorsum painfully high platform heels, fabulous to wear but impossible to walk in
What caught your eye at Aïshti?

Some piece were between the range of KD 500 and KD 740, so for a fur it is reasonable..:)

The Boudoir
Aizone will be opening soon too (or is it already open? not sure) http://confashions.blogspot.com/2008/10/opening-soon-at-avenues.html

hate juicy too:P..2000kd is VERY reasonable for fur..the real deal cost more than 5000 and im talking about the cost of a decade ago..now its even pricier and more rare..but still if it was fake but of a good good designer label, 2000 is really good i guess

my exotic deadstock furs cost no more than 100 euros each or less. France & China both have lovely furs at low cost, 2000+ up to 5000 is insane and out of my budget- live within your means; not your daddy's

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Amazing Alia

Several months ago I posted about Alia Designs , a Kuwaiti talented designer of traditional clothes and dresses. Back then, I liked one of the items featured on her website. This time I'm going ga-ga over her latest Ramadan collection of Kaftans and darraa'at! Especially the one shown here on the first picture. Looks very young, comfortable, and oh-so-perfect for after futoor! For inquiries please visit the website or call (+965) 642-7400.
