Retro Style

Wouldn’t it be fun if there was a piece of jewelry that would allow you to carry around pictures of your family members, friends, and children? Well, now you can have charm bracelets with you favorite photos by placing your order at Retro Beauty Salon. Memory Bracelets come in different styles like the ones featured here, rose Gold with 5 personal close-up photo or a personal close-up photo memory bracelet a la Cartier style.

And if you've ever been to Henry Bendel in New York and fell in love with their hair accessories, then you would be thrilled to know that Retro Beauty Salon has received new collection of Jennifer Ouellette Headbands (made famous by stylish Miss Blaire of Gossip Girl). I actually like this vintage eaves on veiling headpiece.

Retro Beauty Salon is located at Qortuba Co-op mall, Block#5. For any inquiries, please call (+965) 2533-0587.

The 1photo bracelets with elastic band run for around 120kd. The other 5photo rose-gold bracelet is around 450kd, but to be sure call the salon at 2533-0587 and ask the receptionist she can give you more details, they take 2-4 weeks to be completed as they are done in Italy.
The ring is from a shop, I believe, is in Saifi village, but I cant recall the name of the shop.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Amazing Alia

Several months ago I posted about Alia Designs , a Kuwaiti talented designer of traditional clothes and dresses. Back then, I liked one of the items featured on her website. This time I'm going ga-ga over her latest Ramadan collection of Kaftans and darraa'at! Especially the one shown here on the first picture. Looks very young, comfortable, and oh-so-perfect for after futoor! For inquiries please visit the website or call (+965) 642-7400.
