Boyfriend Jeans that is. We've seen them a lot on celebrities lately and heard/read about them a million times. So what's the deal here? Shall I toss my skinny jeans aside and go for the slouchy look? Would it look flattering on me? Shall I purchase one online now or look for them at Gap?
I'm not the type who easily shies away from a new trend. During the course of my fashion addicted life, I've embraced sooo many trends (do's and don'ts) that would even make the bravest fashionistas cringe! I'm hoping this trend would turn into one of those long-lasting and easiest trends to pull off.
Personally, I didn't like this trend on Katie Holmes as much as I did on Rachel Bilson and Amanda Peet. I like the way they make these jeans look so feminine. The key here is to make sure to wear a fitted top, sexy heels or gladiators, cuffed jeans (to show off your heels), studded punkish belt, and any add-on accessories that would make the look feminine.
What's your take on the Boyfriend Jeans trend?

I totally love them, oh so comfy :)) not tossing out my skinnies yet but it'll be nice to have some more options!
Thanks for the post, Ur the best confy;**
I got my hands on the Boyfriend Jean by Current/Elliot and they're super soft and comfy, but should never be worn with flats to avoid looking "dumpy". I recommend wearing them with a fitted tee and a pair of high heels.
Are those the jeans people prefer being in when out on a date with their boyfriends, or what ?
This is ok, once in a while, and as you mentioned, with the right top/shoes/accessories it would look nice for a change, but it feels very summery to me, loose and comfortable.
However, bootcut should die.
definetly pro :)
but as u said, with heels! and cuffing would make it look nice. Personally I'm weariung lose straight pants already :D I felt them comming back :) and for some reason on a casual basis Im into straight cut military ones!
and wore roll ups a while ago too so i certainly won't chnage that now :)
only with beautiful flats though for the day (banana ones by zanotti or lanvin)
