Dump'em or Keep'em?

Boyfriend Jeans that is. We've seen them a lot on celebrities lately and heard/read about them a million times. So what's the deal here? Shall I toss my skinny jeans aside and go for the slouchy look? Would it look flattering on me? Shall I purchase one online now or look for them at Gap?

I'm not the type who easily shies away from a new trend. During the course of my fashion addicted life, I've embraced sooo many trends (do's and don'ts) that would even make the bravest fashionistas cringe! I'm hoping this trend would turn into one of those long-lasting and easiest trends to pull off.

Personally, I didn't like this trend on Katie Holmes as much as I did on Rachel Bilson and Amanda Peet. I like the way they make these jeans look so feminine. The key here is to make sure to wear a fitted top, sexy heels or gladiators, cuffed jeans (to show off your heels), studded punkish belt, and any add-on accessories that would make the look feminine.

What's your take on the Boyfriend Jeans trend?

keep ur skinny jeans, and purchase a boyfriend jeans as well! i got mine from topshop.. so comfy! bs i still don't know how to wear 'em properly yet... ;p

keep 'em! along with skinny jeans and high-waist wide leg jeans too!

I got my hands on the Boyfriend Jean by Current/Elliot and they're super soft and comfy, but should never be worn with flats to avoid looking "dumpy". I recommend wearing them with a fitted tee and a pair of high heels.

I was against it 3ala Katie. But now seeing how cute & sexy 3ala Rachel, I might go get me one. Or I think I have a long abandoned Levi's jeans which might do the trick :P

Pardon my innocence on Boyfriend jeans but what exactly are we on about ?

Are those the jeans people prefer being in when out on a date with their boyfriends, or what ?

I want skinny tight jeans forever.

This is ok, once in a while, and as you mentioned, with the right top/shoes/accessories it would look nice for a change, but it feels very summery to me, loose and comfortable.

However, bootcut should die.

I think you need to be slim and lean to pull it off, but like it

Actually Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham are literally wearing their significant others' jeans. Well, they own their own men's jeans, but were perhaps inspired by theirs. Both of these fabulous ladies are wearing PRPS jeans for men. PRPS now does jeans for women, but they pull off the men's jeans even better than their husbands. Sigh! The other week, TomKat were wearing the same jeans on the same day. Now they look even more like twins.

I've had an obsession with boyfriend jeans for the past oh, six months. I searched in GAP but the employees weren't giving me face so I just left. I guess they thought I was weird shopping in the boys section. When I went to Japan I went to a second hand store and got vintage 502 levi's that my mom thinks i shouldn't wear. I have yet to wear them outside the house .. watch out for me!

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
