Yesterday by coincidence I found out that By Malene Birger new store has opened at Marina Mall. And since I like By Malene Briger mostly for day casual chic wear, I had to pass by the store and stock up for fall. And the store answered my call this season.
The collection was a mix of retro chic and sexy sophistication with adorable bow blouses in jewel tones, ruffle sleeve cardis, neutral colored chunky knits, and modish day-to-evening dresses. Most items can be mixed and matched and would work well with any wardrobe.My favorite item at the store was a very retro black shift dress with ¾ batwing sleeves and has pleats in front and back. Would look perfect for day layered over a colored top or if you’re daring, wear for evening with this season’s micro-trend, a pair of leather gloves.
