Oasis Goes Miu Miu-ish and MJ-ish

Before we go any further here, I have to point out that I am not an Oasis fan, I was at some point but that was years and years ago, before the so-called quality of their clothes gone south. I don't know what went wrong with their designs. Probably one of their managers/board members gone all stingy and decided to take the dreaded cost-cutting strategy on us. Anyhow...

It seems that the British high street stable Oasis, has caught on to the trendy crystal and studs embellished designs from last Spring/Summer Miu Miu and Marc Jacobs collections. Oasis was "inspired" by the queen-of-hearts Miu Miu jewel-embellished pointy flats and "the-not-so-prompt" Marc Jacobs square toe studded flats. And to my surprise, the flats are actually comfortable when I tried them on. But that's only at the store. I'm not sure if they'll be comfortable enough to survive my rigorous shopping sprees. Take a look at the designer inspired Oasis shoes:

The shoes are sold for KD 14. Very very verrry affordable price for those who are looking for designer inspired pieces. And here are some pictures of the real deal... what do you think of that?

A lot of high street brands do exact imitations of the more expensive brands. its not always as good a quality as the latter.

They're mostly cheap versions. But sometimes they're comfy too (which is what matters - supposedly) hehe..

I agree.. and most of the times, the shoes are comfy when you try them on at the store, but once you buy them and give them a real brisk walk (or even chilling around, 20 minutes max and you've got a party of blisters going on :|

lala
Please do!! I'd LOVE to see them :)

They actually were at the store. I'm not sure if they are when used daily :)

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
