Confashions From Kuwait's Interview in Bazaar

Another major milestone in my Confashion world...

Imagine you're clicking away on your PC on a boring morning, when suddenly one of Bazaar writers sends you an e-mail: "We would like to interview you for our next edition." I’m not sure what you would do but after I picked myself up off the floor, I said the first thing that came to mind: "Seriously?!!" But then I quickly shook off any doubts I had about being interviewed and realized that this actually sounds interesting (to me at least!) and I went ahead with it.

Now I know you're probably saying to yourself: "And I need to know this becaaaaause?". Well.. You have every right in the world to be indifferent about this post and the article. It's simply another one of my shameless self promotions that I wanted to share.

Special thanks to my interviewer and Bazaar for giving me this opportunity, and thanks to my fabulous readers. Hope to always keep you interested to read my blog. Oh and one more thing, not that I want to sound ungrateful but I just have to mention it. I wish you had my blog address spelled right. Nevertheless, Thank you for shedding light on Confashions. If (and that's a biiig IF) you're interested to read it, click on the above images. Or check out the November issue of Bazaar magazine.

Thank you very much :)
I think the rule of thumb here is to check unexpected stores for clothes that are suitable for curvaceous women. For example, MaxMara has a very nice selection of formal dresses. The dresses are shaped and cut in a way that hides any flaws. Look for A-line shaped skirts and dresses. Also, try Cacharel, their clothes are very easy to wear, gives you shape, and comfortable.

I am giving my consultancy services for free ;) That's a start I guess!

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Amazing Alia

Several months ago I posted about Alia Designs , a Kuwaiti talented designer of traditional clothes and dresses. Back then, I liked one of the items featured on her website. This time I'm going ga-ga over her latest Ramadan collection of Kaftans and darraa'at! Especially the one shown here on the first picture. Looks very young, comfortable, and oh-so-perfect for after futoor! For inquiries please visit the website or call (+965) 642-7400.
