Tip TopShop Shape

It's been a while since I last saw something that I REALLY liked at TopShop. I don't know what went wrong with the mega high-street retailer, I used to buy at least 10 items each season, now I rarely find something that I like, It's either their quality and variety have gone bad, or I've ~~aged~~ changed. So over the long weekend, I decided to pop-in TopShop's store in the Avenues in hopes of finding something that might tickle my fancy. And to my surprised, I did finally find something that I really liked! An emerald green satin jacket with oversized pockets and semi-cropped sleeves. It looked flawlessly Jackie-O chic! Actually it reminded me of a jacket I once saw at Boutique N by Italian brand No.21 and fell in love with but for some reason, I didn't end-up buying (maybe it was the price tag?). I immediately snatched this piece for KD37 only! Not bad at all, ha? I'm hoping this is the start for TopShop getting its groove back.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in Miu Miu Boutiques throughout our region.

Did you know that Marie Claire, an international women's magazine, has been launched in Kuwait and their second issue is already in newsstands? Winner of the Best Women's Magazine and Magazine of the Year award for 2005, the magazine reportedly has over 14 million readers worldwide with 26 editions in 13 languages across the world. Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. The magazine offers an editorial mix of journalism with glamour, fashion and beauty coverage, and feature stories of lifestyle and serious women related issues. All by an Arabic editorial team. Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
