Amna Al Salem Unveils Her New Spring/Summer Collection

March confuses me. I don't like the feeling not knowing what to wear. Is it too hot? Will it be colder today since it's mostly cloudy? Shall I give up my loafers and start wearing sandals? And of course this humid weather seems to be playing havoc with my hair. And we all know what that means? Bad hair days = bad mood. Solution? I need something to brighten up my mood while I recover from this transitional in-between seasons situation. And spotting Kuwaiti designer Amna Al Salem's lookbook in my e-mail inbox seemed like just the thing.

The designer, whom I previously featured on my blog here, unveiled her Spring/Summer 2014 collection, where she created outfits with both a strong point of view and an inimitable sense of elegance and femininity. Think off-the-shoulders fitted dressed, trapez girly dresses and tops in candy colors, and playing with volume, most of her pretty and ladylike pieces were adorned with Amna Al Salem's signature star-shaped golden brooch.

Take a scroll down to check out some of Amna Al Salem's designs, which should be available soon at AlOthman boutique in Kuwait. Aren’t they just perfect for weddings, receptions, dinners, and fetes of all kinds? Beautiful.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
