Event: Hannayome

Last night I was invited to attend the launch event of Hannayome's third comprehensive annual wedding directory, hosted at Al Hamra Mall. The directory is a one stop wedding portal for all brides-to-be to find products, suppliers, and services to help them, and their mothers, plan for that special day. Hannayome.com was also unveiled in this event, the website will give categorized and easy access to the information needed by the brides-to-be.

The launch event was very classy and elegant with musical performances by Marwa ben Sghaier and someone whom unfortunately I forgot her name but had an amazing voice similar to legendary singer Um Kalthoum. Scroll down for highlights of the evening.

Hannayome's exhibition open to the public today and is taking place at Al Hamra Mall Exhibition Hall from 13th to 14th March 2013. Opening hours from 10am to 1pm and the evenings from 5pm to 10pm. For their latest updates, check their instagram account @Hannayome.

The gold bangles can be found at Boutique Black Pearl.

They are actually gold leaf plastic, so are very light and bendy.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
