What Bags to Buy this Season

As the new season starts unfolding in shops, I frequently get asked by friends and readers about what bags to buy now. And even though the "it" bag phenomenon may not be as popular as it used to be, actually it's somewhat dead, but it nice to update your look with a statement accessory be it a bag or a pair of shoes or a necklace. And this season, we have a plethora of bags to choose from which fits different budgets and lifestyles. In addition to Chanel's Boy bag, Phillip Lim's Pashli bag, Givenchy's Antigona bag/clutch, The Row's box  baguette, Fendi's 2jours bag or baguette, DVF's limited edition box clutches, and Proenza Schouler PSII satchel, I have complied a list of bags that I saw during my trip in London which I loved, starting with heartbreaking Tom Ford's Natalia bag. The bag is even more stunning up close! It came in three different sizes, the mini one shown in the photo below, and it should have came with a warning sign too!! The bag is sooo unrealistically expensive!!!! The one shown above was priced around nine thousand pounds!

Givenchy's Antigona bag.. the only drawback is how heavy it is!

I think I'm over the Celine luggage bag, but this shade of cobalt blue is just  so irresistible...

Valentino crystal-embellished leather shoulder lock bag looked divine, take a closer look here

Proenza Schouler PSI bag, I like the contrast of red and black, you can find similar here

Mulberry Maisie bag which I have previously featured here. You can find it at the brand's boutique in the Avenues Phase II selling for KD 495. Or you can purchase it online from here.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
