If you like decorating your crown with unique and whimsical hair accessories, you will love Joanna Cave's Spring/Summer 2012 collection. I discovered the talented jewelry designer during my trip to London Fashion Week. Her designs are made using 90% recycled sterling silver by people who are paid fairly, making her one of the few designers out there who follow social fair trade guidelines for their business production.
I fell in love with her her earrings and necklaces collection but the beautiful headpieces with velvet ribbons are what caught my attention in particular. They'd look so pretty with wavy and wild hair. The half-English half-Greek designer, who graduated from Central Saint Martins, explained to me with passion that the inspiration behind this collection are the flora and fauna of Japan, which I think they're endangered species.
