Bling it up with Dolce

While shopping at AĂŻshti the other day I spotted something sparkly and shiny on the store's shelves, I came closer and found a big collection of new Dolce & Gabbana bags and evening clutches. Two styles caught my attention, the first one was this Dolce & Gabbana multicolored jewel and pearl-embellished clutch. Did I like it? Yes. It is a masterpiece. Would I buy it? No. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautifully made bag, but the ornate detail just felt too overpowering and too blingy-blingy for my taste.  It's probably a case of being worn by the right girl in the right dress at the right time.

I did also like this jewel embellished fringed silk satin clutch, it was more fun to carry and walk around with as the fringes swayed around. Price range? KD 1,888 to KD 600.

Dolce & Gabbana is located at The Avenues Phase II.

I saw that beautiful multi-colored jewel clutch on net-a-porter the other day and it made my heart ache! WAY out of my budget.. :(

the jeweled clutch would look perfect with a simple one color outfit or dress! Gives me a McQueen vide though...

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
