Last Moda Standing - Part II

So here's my 2nd post on the grand sale held at Villa Moda Shuwaikh. And by the way, if you want your shopping trip to be successful,  expect to be there for at least 2 hours to browse and try everything on. And because the merchandises is all over the place, you need to carefully go through each section.  Let's start by feasting our eyes on these so-on-trend bright colored denim and cotton pants begging to be taken  home. These are by Genetic Denim. Price tag? Around KD 16 each. I really feel like a good consumerist for a change!

Miu Miu sweet as candy prints! Heart!
Another trendy piece, the silk pleated skirt in dirty pink by Junya Watanabe COMME des GARCONS

Take your cue from Prada and pair these striped tee's by Junya Watanabe COMME des GARCONS with multi striped skirts. The top on the left has a beautiful florescent pink shade.

Yup, that used to be Ferragamo boutique...
I have mixed and unmatched these two pieces from Dries Van Noten and I think I like the result! That's me, a sucker for prints.  Would Susie Bubble approve? I think this look is minimal in her standards. Love her style.

A beach cover-up/dress by Ossie Clark. Was KD 493 and now it retails for KD 123

Chris Benz's bright orange jacket. Great piece to pull off the color blocking trend.  Was KD 279 and now around KD 70

Now this is one of my favorite pieces. Thakoon's eggshell silk ribbon trim skirt with an eyelash print throughout.  Feminine and sophisticated with a little bit of quirkiness. Love it! Was KD 262 and now KD 65.500.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
