Dear Confashion: What's mine is Yours

I have just received an e-mail from one of my fabulous readers who launched a website called What's mine is Yours.  The purpose of this site is to sell her pre-loved designer items in hopes that fellow fashionista's would find new life for them. Currently She is only selling her personal items but if all goes well she would like to expand the site to help other Kuwaiti women sell their own designer items as well.  Swell idea! Currently Shop WIMIY is selling iconic handbags by Fendi, Miu Miu, and Chloe at tempting prices. Check them out here.

Hey Confashion :)

I've been contemplating selling my old brand name bags on my "garage sale" section but always thought that buyers will have their doubts wether the item is fake, which I never buy/carry.

Do you think it's a good idea to start posting my bags on my blog? I can take pictures of every detail of the bag but still I know doubts will be there. That's why I did not do it. What do you think?

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Did you know that Marie Claire, an international women's magazine, has been launched in Kuwait and their second issue is already in newsstands? Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. Have you read it? If yes, what do you think of it?

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
