Allow me to introduce you to StyleTrek, the crowdsourced e-commerce boutique showcasing the world’s hottest independent fashion designers and the most in-demand but hard-to-find accessories like Finsk platform wedge (heart!). The site used to serve US clients only. But now it has expanded and is serving online shoppers from over 90 countries.

StyleTrek's current roster of designers are located in over 15 countries across 4 continents including Argentina, Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom and United States.

So what's so special about StyleTrek other than shopping from hard-to-fine designers? The site also mentors driven and talented designers to reach new and existing customers online. You as a client can engage with StyleTrek designers and give them feedback at every stage of the design and production process.

StyleTrek's business model allows designers to retain a larger portion of retail sales in order to use proceeds to fund further growth of their businesses.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
