Wearing hair accessories this season is the way to spring forward in style. But aren't we all tired from the feathered hairbands (in all shapes and colors), hairbands encrusted with the cheapest Swarovski crystals and stones, and the regular sloppy bows? If you're looking for quirky-cool hairbands, look no further than "Ibrah" Hairbands, the Arabic name of a sewing needle.
The headband and accessories brand is created and handmade by a talented Kuwaiti girl. She introduced her collection in PickYourTag.com under the name of Ibrah, since she's into handmade stuff.

I actually liked the turtle silk headband (1st photo). It looks very well made and its different. Simply gather your hair up in a messy knot or a sleek ponytail and wear these young and colorful headbands for an effortless chic look.

or could be this young talented girls idea..
anyways the hairbands look brilliant and i would love to get her details for the necklace.
i checked their website out and the only thing that i found well, unnecessary, was the about us section, especially with the picture. i know that a lot of businesses here in kuwait don't want to disclose their real identity, but why make it look so odd with the strange-looking ganesha mask? omit the photo altogether.
i don't know about you, but it just made me raise a quizzical eyebrow.
A great way to accessorize.
EXPLORE ADLIYA: ON FOOT
Adliya, Manama, Bahrain
Adliya, a bohemian neighborhood- known for its clustered cafes, bars, pubs, clubs, chic restaurants, bookstores and galleries- is currently, Bahrain's 'it' neighborhood! And is definitely my fav. So, why not gather your girlfriends and go on a foot- exploring expedition of the narrow streets of our island's boho-hood? Well, if you ever decide to do it, here is advice:
Start your day at 10am with a quiet breakfast at a Bahrain classic, Lilou's- try their Parisian croissonts- Tres yummy! Next, talk a short walk to Al Riwaq, a townhouse-turned-gallery right behind Lilous, opposite the Steak Co. reastaurant. This is my favorite gallery, in Adliya at least. Dont forget to take the stairs to the first floor, their bookstore is great, boosting a hip collection of art-how-to books, a couple of coffee table books, and cant-put-it-down novels. Next, a short walk will take you straight to the street with lots of traditional crafts stores (i forgot what it was called, oops!) Anyways, pick some beautifuly- craved vases for your bedroom, to fill them, pick up some roses from

I mean, why are you hiding you identity confashions? really, Are you ashamed of what you do?
People here are always like that- unlike the U.S. and the UK where they are proud and don't give a damn about what others think!- seriously confash come out!
SHOW US WHO YOU ARE. BECOME KUWAIT'S ANNA WINTOUR OR GLENDA BAILEY OR NINA GARCIA or something!
to first anon, well, you're obviously referring to my input in your comment. first of all, relax. for starters, i am more than proud that there are young (and older) kuwaitis who are actually doing something productive during their spare time and making something wonderful out of it for themselves as well as others. anyone who puts in that much genuine effort and time should be applauded. i don't, however, shed grateful tears when someone becomes a so-called designer overnight i.e. making rather tasteless garments with rather cheap cloth from soog il aqmisha. i think we've seen some of those in many magazines especially during last ramadan. that, however, doesn't apply to the featured headband designers in this post.
the only thing that i personally didn't like is the weird mask looking thing. you might've gotten butterflies in your tummy when you checked it out but it just creeped ME out. and well, that's my opinion and i'm kind of sure everyone is entitled to have one. and everyone has their right for privacy. heck, the designers could've photographed themselves in dungarees for all i care; they did what works for them on a personal and artistic basis and the outcome reflects their own opinion and wants on what should be on the "about us" page.
and confashions. i think that EVERY little fashionista is dying to know who you are. but that's mysterious and sexy isn't it, and i KNOW that that's always in fashion, n'est pas? ;) keep doing what you're doing because you're more than fab (great writing and VERY catchy titles...you obviously dig your 80's :P)
okay i'm tired now...
:)
