MAC Hello Kitty .. Sold Out?!

I didn't think that MAC Hello Kitty make-up collection would cause such a commotion! Apparently, people lined up today around 9:30 AM in front of MAC branches throughout Kuwait and in one branch 300 items were sold within less than 2 hours! I cam in a couple of hours late and managed to get one lipstick, a nail polish, one lip gloss. Eye shadows? eye liners? brushes? make-up cases? the rest of the lip glosses and lipsticks? ALL SOLD OUT! Oh and I manged to buy the last piece of the hello kitty mini mirror, which I thought it was useless when I got back home.

The limited-edition collection of was fun, cute, colourful, and glittery. The ones that I bought were the least glittery because I don't like glitter in make-up.

confash is right, at the fanar location staff were startled when they saw a mob of female fans outside and thus were forced to open at 9:30 instead of 10Am.

I was informed the middle east wasn't sent the brush set- the mirror was already sold out when I arrived. Did walk away with lippie, gloss & pinky blush. wanted another shade of lipstick+gloss but sold out entirely in Kuwait.

had no idea hello litty had such a HUGE fans base here, thank gawd am not alone.

Funny thing yesterday I was @ mac fanar and I asked the lady there when is Hello Kitty is going to be release and she said tomorrow "but you should come really really early because mostly it will be sold out". Of course I didn't buy that but I guess she was right.

I was supposed to pass by one today but I got sick and couldn't make it.
The only thing I really want are the tinted lip conditioner in both colors (I really want pink fish more though).
Other than that I heard that the eyeshadows were too chalky and the colors can be duped from the permanent line. The blushes and beauty powders didn't grab my attention.
I was hoping I could check out the lipsticks and the lipglasses but I guess that's out of the question.

=) sorry i know its alot anyways the eysahdows need primers & shadesticks to really pop up and the brush sets weren't anything fantastic my mate got them they Bleed alot so no one should be disapointed go get the 187! i can't live without it

You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
