The Thrill Of Bargain Hunting - Part 2 - Fabulously Fun Feathers

I'm not a huge fan of feathers because I feel it makes me look a bit costume-ish. But this cute Marni evening clutch/mini bag, adorned with feathers in a very settled and classy way, completely changed my view. Its chic design instantly added a twist to my look. Besides, for Fall 2008, designers embellished their clothes and accessories with attention-grabbing feathers, which makes the mini bag even more alluring to buy. The bag is retailed at KD 137 after discount.

Villa Moda Mubarikiya is located at Abdulla Al-Salem Street next to KNPC's head office. Tel: (+965) 241-1072.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. Have you read it? If yes, what do you think of it?

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
