If I Was An Unconventional Bride-To-Be...

And 6 feet tall, I would defiantly pick this enormously billowing red Giambattista Valli evening gown for my "at-home-with-friends-and-family-wedding". I love the red blood shade of the gown and the embellished rosette details on the bodice that fall below the waistline in a scattered manner to add even more interest to the powerful skirt. This gown is for someone who wants to break typical wedding traditions. For someone who wants to make a big and beautiful statement. No veil required...

And then after dinner (oh! I would only eat one sushi roll to fit into my next dress), I would go for this short and much more practical dress, dance a little, and mingle with my guests. How cool and chic is that?

And that's a BIG IF.....

The featured gown and dress are from Giambattista Valli's Fall 2008 collection.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
