I have a weakness for easy-breezy trapeze-shaped summery dresses. They're ideal for days when I don't want to think of what to wear, and especially on days when its over over 50 degrees outside! I found this dress at Cacharel boutique in Arrraya Complex. I liked the fact that it has a ruffle detail at the lower front part of the dress. And on the back, the dress is completely straight with a longer length. I wore it with my TopShop light denim skirt to avoid any unwanted "Marilyn-Monroe's-Seven-Year-Itch" moment (remember her famous scene where she stood over a subway grating??). I wore it with my favorite turquoise stones necklaces, my comfy fuchsia Prada sandals of S/S 2011 I think, and my Olympia le Tan clutch. I forgot to take a photo of my pony-tail, but I had it tied in a checkered silk scarf. It looked very retro paired with my 50's-inspired printed dress.
Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in Miu Miu Boutiques throughout our region.
