Oops More Shoes!

As I declutter the files on my laptop, I keep on discovering new photos that I have taken for the purpose of publishing on my blog but never came around to do that. I should have added these photos to a previous post dedicated for shoes that I liked, or ones that I didn't like but caught my attention, during my trip to Dubai last month.  Let's start with Giuseppe Zanotti, I actually liked these gold chain sandals, they felt very industrial... or more like Givenchy. I also spotted Zanotti's shoes of the season with its golden wings details, according to the sales guy, you can place an order for the white pair which the brand collaborated with US rapper Kanye West in designing in celebration of the launch of his album .

These Giuseppe Zanotti emerald green lace-up sandals were released in black last season and I bought them from the brand's boutique at 360 Mall, even though I haven't worn them much, they really do make the outfit stand out.

If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a walking statue, then get these Emilio Pucci off-white wedged sandals, carved out in patterns taken from chinese ivory craftsmanship. Yes the details are a work of art but I wouldn't be caught dead wearing them! Plus they cost like KD 1,500!!! Seriously??!!

Now these sandals by Rupert Sanderson are super adorable! I have a weakness for accessories with lips motif.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .

Magical Mode

As anyone who regularly reads Confashions may know, there are some designers I’ve been obsessed with for quite some time: one is the genius Erdem , the other is Nicholas Kirkwood , and Pierre Hardy . And because their designs are somehow easily accessible online and offline, I had the pleasure of featuring some of their creations and showing them the love they deserve. That said, there is one designer I’ve been particularly smitten with for quite some time. He has always been on the top of my favorite designers list ever since I was introduced to his designs by my fabulous fellow fashionisto Adnan Z Manjal   a couple of years back : Saudi designer Mohammed Ashi . I always wished I featured him more. I couldn’t because his pieces are very exclusive and as far as I know not stocked anywhere here. This clearly isn't just another post on my obvious love for Mohammed Ashi’s designs or the quality of his clothes as I have done that previously. Ashi simply deserves his very own epic p...
