Perfect in Peplum

I always liked peplums. To me, they hide a multitude of sins and sometimes give the illusion of a tiny waist, if you're not already blessed with an hourglass/pear shape body figure that is. I remember buying a peplum top a couple of years ago and I wasn’t sure if this trend would stick around. But after seeing the A/W 2012 fashion runways. I'm contemplating whether to invest in this peplum top too. I spotted these frugal finds at, where else but Zara of course (surprise!), and their necklines are embellished with geometric shaped beads and shiny crystals (KD 24.500 and KD 35.500), to go with this season's opulence trend where designers used jewels and beads on everything from trench coats, dresses, to military jackets. On that note, tell me how would you wear your peplum top?

definitely with a pencil skirt ... I think you need something slim underneath to balance the shape .. Those are beautiful ; I'm a great Zara fan !

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
