I could have spent every single day of my Côte d'Azur vacation on the beach in Juan-les-Pins or simply just hanging there, and I'd probably feel like I've had a very rewarding trip. OK not every single day but most days. Juan-les-Pins was the perfect Summer getaway, lazy days, long Summer nights, great food (the.BEST.crepe.I.ever.had.EVER!), and lively yet relaxed at the same time. The streets at night were filled with people eating out and chilling in open-air restaurant, or shopping at the small boutiques lined up on the narrow streets or the flea market (my fave) until the early hours. This was my 3rd time visit to Juan-les-Pins, and I hope it won't be the last. Check out these photos of some of the merchandise which was being sold along the beach at night. I love these knick-knacks and they're so budget-friendly too.

The 80's called they want their carved shells back! I remember buying something very similar to the shells shown above from Sultan Center in Kuwait sometime in the 1980's, when it was one of the hippest places to hang out in Salmiya.. good memories.
