Webby Wednesday: Shop Curious

UK-based ShopCurious.com is one of my go-to e-tailers for quirky cool accessories. I love the fact that most of the things that you’ll see on their site are rarely available elsewhere. So the other day while browsing the site, I stubmblled upon these necklaces, which any fashion-obsessed connoisseur would not be able to resist. The brand is called Défilés from Paris by French designer Nathalie Queraud., and her collection takes inspiration directly from fashion's movers and shaker! The necklaces/rosaries have enameled fashion figurines hanging on them such as Anna Wintour, Yves Saint Laurent, Sonia Rykiel, Alber Elbaz, Coco Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, Suzy Menkes, and my favorite the legendary Italian editor Anna Piaggi. Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in Miu Miu Boutiques throughout our region.

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
