Window Shopping until Pre-Fall and Fall

It's July. And by now I think I've had enough of what's being offered on sale around town. I'm bored basically and I'm in desperate need of seeing pre-fall and fall merchandise right there in front of me (not virtually) for some fashion stimulation. So until that time comes, I decided to do some window shopping at different home accessories boutiques. My only worry was that my window shopping might turn into an extravaganza  for spending my hard-earned money on items I really really don't need! Fortunately that did not happen. Anyways, here are some of the really cool items I have spotted here and there..

How cool are these set of tea glasses (istikanas) with padded sleeves shaped as guy wearing a tarboosh. Available at Turquoise boutique in 360 Mall.

Colorful triangle shaped tables to add zest to boring rooms. Available at B&B boutique in Al Tilal Complex
Loved this very artistic and huuuuge center plate. The photo really does not do it justice. Also at B&B boutique.
Another huuuuge and a statement piece at B&B. It's a plain chandelier from the outside but the inner side of it has a beautifully carved floral details.
I forgot the name of this boutique (was it Kenzo Maison?!)but it was at Al Tilal too. Now THIS is the kind of piece I'd like to have in my living room. So classy! I already started referring to it as "my couch"!
Silver hammered tables to match "my couch"
Check out this footstool from Kenzo Maison shaped as Kenzo's Pagodon Bag which I have featured before here. So pwety!

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
