Comme des Garcons For H&M in Kuwait

The Commes des Garçons collection for H&M has finally hit all H&M stores throughout Kuwait. The verdict? The collection of fashion's most avant garde label was, unfortunately, mediocre. Nothing special and some of the black gothic jackets were not available. Plus the material used in most items was too heavy for our weather. There were lots of polka dots and lots of black. Check it out, the collection might appeal to you.

I was never a big fan of "Comme des Garcons" their garments always look 3 sizes too big, to the point where the clothes are wearing YOU, not the other way around. but I'm interested to see what they have created for H&M, I' sure they had to tone it down a bit to make the pieces more wearable.

I think because of the majority of the collection being black and with some polka dots, you just gotta use it to complete a look and nnot build a look around it.

I was expecting better from Comme des Garcon for H&M, and again with the quality, I mean what do you expect when you such prices!
Topshop's quality I believe to be better.

Anyways, I think with CdG for H&M there are basic not so bad pieces, I like the black short shirwal for women... And the polk dots shirt for men.
But again, they're nothing to go to clound no. 9 over....

C.d.G has that special appeal that only few successful ones manage to be lured into,-it's extremely artistic with surreal visions, believe or not they do have fans and many faithful followers. Here is the deal: usually the head office in Sweden and the purchasing team collaborate on selecting pieces that are more suitable for the Gulf weather.

Now regarding other issues black is a forever staple, one seams to simply can't get enough (cough-cough) This is one of the most versatile shades that exists, dress it up or down, punch up the color with a pop art scarf, perhaps a dash of paisley chiffon peaking though or just do you your own thing (a pin or two, who cares if they are out of date, one's personal style should be indefinite)

As for quality, folks this is H&M, what do you expect—top trend for a bargain that will last you a wash or two (kidding, but if you hand wash instead of machine their garments last longer)

This blouse was sold out after 2 days of the collection launch. But believe me, up close, it doesn't look as nice as it does in photos...

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
