Cruise Collections: Stella McCartney

Now with all the heat going on at New York Fashion week for the Spring/Summer 2008 collection. I thought it would be fabulous to give you a glimpse of the used-to-be-ignored Cruise Collection. I'm glad that more designers are focusing on the collection for the in-between-seasons. For some reason, I'm not quite favorable on seeing what on the S/S runway yet. If I do that, then I'll start abandoning my newly adopted winter bags & clothes. And I'm not THAT cruel.

The new handbag to Confashion:"We love you!".
Confashion: "Love you too honey"

The cruise collection is just in time for your winter Eid or Christmas getaway, that is if you're planning to go to an exotic hot destination. So let's start out series with one of my favourite anti-fur designers: the lovely & effortlessly chic Stella McCartney.

My favorite looks are the yellow dress, the beige jumpsuit (yes I would wear it in public), the black blazer with the clutch, and the layered gray dress. So simple and so chic. Which one is your favorite?

Stella Mccartney is my favorite designer as well. I'm in loooove with the jumpsuit, with the right accessories it'll look hot. Just got a gorgeous chiffon dress from her Fall/Winter collection. Everything else looks fabulous too.

Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
