The Cruz Collection at Mango Kuwait

Penelope and Monica Cruz for MNG collection is now available at all Mango stores throughout Kuwait. Following the trend of celebs turning into designers, the exotic Cruz sisters designed and modelled the limited-edition collection. Prices range from KD 15 for a basic vest to KD 25 for jeans, and around KD 50 for an evening dress. You can view the collection by clicking here. And here are some photos which I've taken of the collection.

So what do I think of the Cruz collection? I think the clothes look.. ordinary. Pretty much similar to the clothing you already see in H&M or Zara. I think they could have tried to be more innovative, rather than depending on what they see on the high-street. Or maybe the collection reflects their classic style? Hmm.. I wonder who's the next celeb in line for a designing collaboration.

Don't you think that its kind of getting boring with the celebrities that are designing for high-street brands?
Kate Moss for TopShop, Heidi Klum for Accessorize, etc, etc..
And then, these same actresses will make their own brand, and join the endless list of designer/actress/singer, etc....

Its really annoying me!

I know this is kind of off-topic, but don't u think that Monica Cruz is prettier than Penelope?
I've always thought so..

I agree.. Most of them are just playing a publicity stunt. What they "design" is pretty much similar to the clothing you already see on the high-street. They need to be more creative or stick to their day job!

Monica's beauty is flawless. I totally agree, she's prettier than Penelops.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
