Celine Lirine Bag at Arraya Mall


Here's a bag which I would definitely buy, but only if it was on sale. Celine's Lirine Bag. Lirine is made out of 100% Patent calfskin with mat calfskin trimming. I have mixed feelings about this bag. Although the color is strikingly beautiful (Red is officially the hue for fall 2007), for some reason I'm not too keen to spend that much money on a Celine bag.


Anyways, Celine Lirine Bag is now available at Celine's boutique at Arraya Mall and it costs around KD 551. The bag also comes in various colors & textures such as black suede, tan buttery leather, and springbok skin with chocolate calf trimmings. Lirine is also available on Net-a-Porter.com. I have seen many a pretty young things in Kuwait carry this season's 'IT' bag or their favourite Birkin with them when out weekending at Applebee's or at Ruby Tuesdays. To my mind,nothing can outdo such a colossal impropriety.

The setting just isn't right. After all, you don't go to the fruits & Veggies market dressed in a Vera Wang, every now and again - or do you now?
Other than that there's nothing to fault these designs of plain vanity.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
