It was my first time ever to see a blooming cherry blossom tree in London. It say it was magical would be an understatement. I stood there under it for quite sometime staring at its beautiful petals. Passersby probably thought I was crazy or something. It was such a a wonder to behold, you feel as though you are floating in an otherworldly pink land, far away from here.
I just recently found out that for most of the year, cherry blossom trees just look like normal trees, but in mid March and April, they bloom and become decked in pink petals. A pretty sign announcing that spring is definitely here. I must plan a trip to Japan to visit THE land of cherry blossom trees.
