If you've been following me on instagram @confashions, you probably know by now that the always impeccably dressed, and one of my favorite fashion bloggers in the region, Dana of TheOverdressed was in K-town over the weekend. Dana visited Kuwait to assist her lovely sister Reem of Green Bar, who happens to be one of the participants of Qout Market, Kuwait's official farmer's market. I have previously featured Green Bar on my blog here and here, and I'm officially obsessed with their face elixir and the botanical protein Hair Revitalizing Oil. Anyhow, I passed by their hotel to pick them up and headed to Boutique N since they've never been to it before, and we had some time for retail therapy before heading out for dinner. AlJawhara Al Mahdi of Boutique N welcomed us to her store with her usual warm smile and genuine self. Dana, Reem, and AlJawhara all looked fabulous, I love the fact that each one had her own personal style, Dana looked stylishly overdressed in her vintage pink Chanel jacket, Reem looked effortlessly Parisian-chic in her skinny cropped pants, ankle boots, and fitted leather jacket, and AlJawhara looked uber-chic in her Viktor & Rolf jacket and Balenciaga tee worn with Ek Thongprasert x Natasha Goldenberg necklace. I went for my black Comme des Garcon bows jackets paired with red Isabel Marant x H&M pants, as shown in the photo above. The night was soon ended with a scrumptious meal at Lorenzo with these beautiful (inside and out) girls.
That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit. After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the Altuzarra sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away. Which pair would you go for?
