Mixed Feelings

The moment I saw Jimmy Choo x Rob Pruitt collection featured in an international fashion magazine, I immediately had mixed feelings about it. Glitter?!! Angel Panda and Devilish Panda??! Zebra and Cheetah prints mixed with colors of the rainbow AND lace?!?!? That was too much to handle and absorb! I'd describe it as Nicki Minaj-ish crazy (some pieces were fun to look at though)! Anyhow, when I saw some of the pieces up close at the brand's boutique in the Avenues, I kind of (I said kind of) warmed up to the idea of wearing the Anouk lace-covered leather pumps featured in the first photo, even though they looked very 80's, but I loved their fit and the way they carried me. The flats however were definitely not my cup of tea.

It is worth mentioning that Rob Pruitt is a New York artist  known for his jaw dropping and shocking art. You can find out more about him and his work by clicking here

just what's the point having Panda angels or whatever in the INTERIOR of the shoes?? no one will see it from the inside...
unless the lady who wears 'em take them off in the mall's prayer room to pray lol

LOL! I think it's the designer's way of being creative and present unexpected details.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
