Introducing Opal and OP

I have been invited by the lovely designers behind Kuwait-based brand Opal Jewelry and OP Accessories Noor Al Ghanim and Alaa Al Mulla, to get a close look at their debut collection or necklaces and bracelets. The collection is currently being displayed at Panacheous boutique located at Discovery Mall.

Opal Jewelry is designed using precious stones and real diamonds and gold, OP on the other hand is the more affordable line, their prices start at KD15. Perfect for gifts or for teenage girls.

One item that caught my attention was the flower necklace shown below, it showcases a beautiful Swarovski crystals and offers three styling options, worn as a hair band, as normal necklace, and as a neck piece with a back detail. The collection is perfect for everyday use and I can just imagine how beautiful the necklaces would be worn with a simple white tee to let it shine. Scroll down for more of their beautiful designs.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... Marie Clair - Kuwait is in Arabic of course. The magazine offers an editorial mix of journalism with glamour, fashion and beauty coverage, and feature stories of lifestyle and serious women related issues. All by an Arabic editorial team. Chanel Bags on Discount?!

If you thought that getting a cheap Chanel bag that's within your budget is something too far fetched, then think again. You'll be surprised to know that Chanel's boutique located at Salhiya Complex is currently selling several bags, that are a maximum 1 or 2 seasons old, on discount . And we're not talking about a 2 or 5% discount here, these bags are 50% off their original price! For some reason I always thought that Chanel bags never go on sale. But I guess the printed ones or the ones that are made out of the collection's main fabric have to go on sale. Anyways, I managed to take photos of these 2 beauties. What I love about those bags is that they're a classic shape that never goes out of style, their print is young and refreshing, plus they're quilted. I think they could be a collector's item. Both bags featured here are sold for approximately KD 250 .
