How to Wear Red Lipstick

I have recently been introduced to an Amman-based brand called Red Lipstick.  The ready-to-wear fashion label was created Galia Mango in 2007, when she opened her atelier in Amman and launched her prĂŞt- Ă  -porter line, becoming one of the first local designers to produce full ready-to-wear collections and garnering extensive media coverage in Jordan. Red Lipstick clothing is feminine, wearable, and fun.  All Red Lipstick garments are hand-sewn and hand-beaded.  My personal favorite is this vintage-looking dress featured here.

For more information please check out Red Lipstick's website or Facebook page  or feel free to email their PR department at pr@redlipstickdesigns.com.

I always read your blog so I was happy to see this post about Red Lipstick. I saw an interview with the designer in a magazine at the airport in Amman and the clothes she designs are so pretty and fun, and the designer seemed really down to earth and modest! I am a Red Lipstick fan for sure!!! I live in Dubai so I hope she starts selling here soon.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
