Did any1 ever wonder why these shawls are so expensive!!!
Shahtoosh is the name given to the wool got from the Tibetan Antelope which is a rare and endangered specie. It takes 3 antelopes to make one shahtoosh shawl. The hunting of this animal is illegal but poachers still continue to do so, to keep this illegal trade going. We as individuals should discourage this trade by boycotting these products. Let the "Chiru"(the name for the Tibetan Antelope) live, otherwise at this rate it might be extinct in the next 3 years.
P.S. I am surprised these shawls were not confiscated at the customs.
Please in the future before you post any such blogs do make inquiries.

really surprised these items were not confiscated at the customs. They are illegal because they are got by poaching the endangered Tibetan Antelope 'Chiru'. Please all of you do your part by not buying such items.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
