A KAGE in Every Closet

Imagine a 30s French boudoir pieces with a touch of modern day chic detailing. That’s what it felt like looking at KAGE’s creations that were sent to me by e-mail. I was sold on this elegant and playful with contemporary edge line at first glance/image.

KAGE is the brainchild of trend‐setting duo Basma Abu Ghazaleh and Arwa Abdelhadi. Their A/W 2009 collection is comprised of a mélange of colors and feminine silhouettes that embraces a glamorous chic persona with fashion forward and romantic detailing. The collection can be worn for upbeat, everyday glamour or treasured for a special occasion.

KAGE can now be found at the trendy Kitsch and Cream boutiques in Lebanon and online based retailer Aura B. The collection is also available at Boom & Mellow in Dubai and will soon be found at Boutique 1. For further info, please click here.

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in Miu Miu Boutiques throughout our region.
