Something For Everyone

Unless you're blessed with a super model figure, some brands are just not meant for us regular planet earth people. Ahem.. I'm referring to body shapes here not super model pay cheques. Example, Jennifer Hudson and Balmain don't mix well. However, Bodyamr's Spring/Summer collection could be the answer to all body shapes. BodyAmr's latest collection has something for every taste and shape. He has gone short, long, draped, ruched, twisted, edgy, fitted, loose, grecian, black, pastel, deluxe, and simply glamorous. And I loved them all. Here are my favorite looks of BodyAmr s/s 2010. You can view more here.

That is so true, girls really ought to only buy things that are good for their shape. The thing is, with heavier girls they really have trouble finding things that are trendy and that suit them - the larger sizes are not really large!! - so it seems some of them just ignore shape altogether and focus on what's trendy.

Im curious, which outfit on the pictures do you think suits a curvy figure...they all seem like they would be way to open for a larger women...The pink long dress has a split until your waist practically. The others are short, the pink skirt will just emphazise the buttocks.
There are many deisgners out there i think better for curvy women, like Maxmara, Marlene Birger and many other shops.

I couldn't agree more..

1-The little black ruched dress has just enough draping to minimize busty women, hide tummy bludges, and wide bottom (notice the black tail that flows from the back).

2-The pink long dress with a slit can be altered and closed till just above the knees and again, the draping and ruching in this design is perfect for pear-shaped ladies. Also check out looks 5,6, and 14 on http://www.bodyamr.com/index2.html

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit.  After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the  Altuzarra   sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away.  Which pair would you go for?

To New Beginnings...

"What did this Corona crisis teach you?" my friend asked. My first thought was thing crisis has opened my eyes on the simple pleasures of life. My priorities have changed. And I feel every day is a new beginning. First of all, it made me realize how much I miss blogging. How simple and mentally satisfying it was to jolt down my thoughts on a field that I was very passionate about. I have to admit that I'm not as passionate now. Don't get me wrong, I still like fashion, but it's now on the bottom of my priorities list. I would like to blog about other things too that I feel much related to. I recently discovered that I do enjoy cooking. For the longest time, cooking to me was a nightmare.  This corona crisis has taught us that we can look forward to a new day with new possibilities to contribute or to help another, or to simply approach things differently, and most importantly to make the most of each day we have and share that goodness with others.
