Make Your Own Fendi Baguette

Always wanted to have your very own Fendi Baguette but sadly can't afford a customized one? Until you get the right connections with the Fendi sisters (and have enough cash to splurge), do the next best thing, buy yourself this limited-edition Fendi Artist Baguette.

This Fendi Baguette comes in a funky gift box decorated with colorful scribbles and your own set of un-washable color markers. The bag is completely blank made out of canvas, which allows you to draw your own scribbles or paint your very own original design. If you're not the art-sy type? Try contacting one of our famous local artists like Ghada Al-Kandari or Dana Al-Hilal or anyone else you know to do the work for you (IF they agree that is!). Fashionable and FUN!

But hurry, the Fendi Boutique in Kuwait only got 2 of these and one is already sold. Price tag? KD 407 (not bad for a limited edition bag, ha?!).

Fendi boutique is located at Salhiya Complex, Kuwait City. For inquiries, please call (+965) 249-3985.

XVA Gallery in Dubai invited Artists Halim AlKarim from Iraq, Reza Derakshani and Fereydoun Ave from Iran and Essa from UAE to customise the Fendi baguette. They then had a private auction where they sold the bags for charity. Isn't that an extra cool idea ?

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Sephora Opening Soon At The Avenues II

Beauty Junkies rejoice! The famous retailer of perfumes and cosmetics and the leading beauty chain in Europe and US, Sephora , will be opening soon at The Avenues Phase II. Personally, I like Sephora not only because of its tempting cosmetic selection, but mainly because I don't feel pressured by sales associates to buy stuff that I don't really need. I can actually touch and try the products without having the sales associate stalking me around and giving me some unnecessary comments about my skin/make-up. I think Sephora will make it big here if it sells its high-end cosmetics which are unavailable at other beauty stores/pharmacies in Kuwait. Does anyone have any product recommendations or favorites?
