Outfit of the Day

I don't know about you but I think perfecting that effortless casual chic look is more challenging than dressing up for a wedding, a reception, or a party. I'm not saying I spend hours to finally decide on what to wear, but in some cases, I end up looking like and...effortless... couch potato. Thank god I was able to snatch this C x Mira Mikati (previously known as C x Faconnable) floral varsity jacket when it first hit the shop floor last year. I love it because whatever I end up wearing, as soon as I put on this varsity jacket, suddenly my outfit looks not so shabby! I paired it with my good ol' TopShop cropped jeans, an Elizabeth and James tee, and wrapped a plaid shirt by Equipment around my waist. Had to wear my Golden Goose sneakers too to complete the casualness of the look (they're not the most comfortable sneakers btw).

What's your go-to piece to perfect that effortless casual chic look?

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
