Qatar's Got Talent

A fab reader has recently introduced me to a new Qatari brand called √FML². The brand specializes in desiging funky t-shirts with a flair using iconic fashion figures and refrences. I was really surprised by the creativity of some of the tee's designed. Whoever's creating the grahics or the illustrations has a major passion for fashion and to shine in this wide spread and hard to tackle business. Click here to browse through the designs created.

First of all Thank you soo much Confashions for the sweetest comment about our designs, people like you are the reason of our encouragement. I can assure you all our designs are NOT copied as we think carefully before doing them.
Second of all this goes to the anonymous person. We're not here to cause a problem, but check the date of Latifa's post, and check the date of our post. Thats all we have to say, its a shame if you really think we copied her.

great shirts, i would love to have at least 2 of them in my wardrobe.
and to the anonymous person who said that they are copying latifa alshamsi, i checked both blogs and it was posted on fml site on the 12th of feb and on latifas on the 22nd of feb. at least check your sources before you attack people. I don't know based on what you said that she designed them first. If you think people should stop copying, then i think you should start setting your record straight.

FML there isn't anything really creative about your designs, as for the loub shirt ya the dates are different but they are also not similar as yours have sequence and latifa's doesn't ...so if you say that the chanel shirt is not an exact copy so is latifa's. Besides they are just t-shirts, I mean well world known designers were copied because they are great. So what is all the fuss about? I mean really FML grow up. Latifa Al Shamsi is way classier and way more creative than you are. I sent her an email and told her about what has been written and this is what she said: " I appreciate your lovely email and I am sorry that the FML team think that I copied them, to stop all the hate and the arguing I am withdrawing the Loubs T-shirt because it is not my intention to copy and I mainly made the t-shirts for fun and because I have the shoes as you can see in my blog. I have other genuine designs that I have not seen anywhere and I hope that it will be enough and satisfying for my fans, and my fans is all I care about. Thanx again for the lovely email and check my new collection soon ;)"

So as you can see she is very classy and very much polite. Check out her amazing blog latifalshamsi.wordpress.com

Saks In Bahrain

I went to Saks Fifth Avenue store in Bahrain. The two-level store is located in City Centre Mall and has a collection of American and international clothes designers for Men and Women as well as jewelry, accessories, handbags, fragrances, cosmetics, intimate apparel, bridal, and children's apparel. However, I was slightly disappointed by the small selection, maybe because all items were on sale? Or the number and variety of brands were limited? Anyhow, my favourite section at Saks - Bahrain was Saks's world-famous 10022-SHOE salon (shown in the photo below). It had the same look & feel of the NY's shoe salon but of course not the same space. The Shoe Salon had really nice selection and they were all on sale! I have been told by Saks Sales Assistant that they will be hosting numerous special events throughout the year such as fashion shows and personal appearances by designers. Now that's something I'd be interested in! In addition, they currently offer in-st
