Lo and behold... there they were, this season’s most coveted items from one of the most incredible designers of our generation were right there in front of me, the crisply chic safari jacket, the impeccably sharp collarless white shirt neatly tucked in high-waisted, wide-legged pants, the clog-ish/wedge sandals, and the canvas & leather day bag in palette of camel, navy blue, and khaki. Yes my dear readers, those were the latest Céline S/S 2010 collection designed by the super genius Phoebe Philo . There is this incredible aura about Philo. Anything she touches turns into gold. Remember her designs for Chloé? Almost every piece on the runway was just perfect. And this legacy continued with Céline’s latest collections. I've browsed through Brown Booteek's photos and picked some of my favorite items like this munchichi monkey doll pearl necklace. OMG! It brought some good ol' childhood memories. Love labels for less? Who doesn't! I've just stumbled upon this small outlet store in Zahra Complex which might have been there for god knows when but I only noticed it recently. The store is owned by Al Ostoura Group and you can get hold of designer clothes, shoes, and accessories up to 80% off. I've spotted these two Chloé bags, one was like KD 60 and the other was priced at around KD80 more or less. Bargains! The store is located opposite to Areej lingerie store, closer to the side exit on the ground floor.

I just received by e-mail that a new selection of Italian brand Borbonese have arrived in Villa Moda Shuwaikh, I’ve never heard of this brand before so when I looked it up online, I was surprised to find out that the brand has a long history. Originally, they started making luggage in the late 1800's, but have recently branched out to include RTW and handbags. Several seasons back Italian designer Allessandro Dell'acqua , who is more famous for his own label, designed for them. In celebration of its first centenary, the brand collaborated with Roy Lichtenstein Foundation to create a new project: the Art Bags (last 2 photos), twelve bags produced in limited edition that reproduces some of the pop artist’s masterpieces shown at the exhibition at the Triennale di Milano . I was doing some “sole” searching and shopping for wardrobe staples at MaxMara boutique in Salhiya the other day when at the cashier, the sales assistant surprised me with a box of Green & Blacks Organic Chocolate as complimentary gift. YUM! On the box, the following was printed: “ A very special chocolate for a very special customer, from Al Yasra Fashion ” Now how sweet can your shopping spree get!? Thanks guys.

If you haven't been to Bahrain's Moda Mall for the " So Passé ” Vintage Evening wear event, then here's a sneak peak of the event.  The event was held in Villa Moda boutique which is beautifully designed by Marcel Wanders . The heavily patterned interior includes mannequins with mirrors in place of heads. Such a magical ambiance.  The exhibition will be on for the next 3-4 weeks, so if you're planning to visit Bahrain, take a little trip to Villa Moda at Moda Mall.    Thanks R for sharing..

I can just feel the beat just by looking at these striking jazz shoes by Christian Louboutin , which I spotted the other day at Al Othman boutique in Mariam Complex. I’m glad that jazz shoes are back, they’re a nice change from ballet flats. The studded ones are out of this world! And the metallic blue! ooooh, the color! Such a mad touch of glam chic. I.AM.IN.LOOOOVE I can believe I’ve found this hidden gem of couture-like dress at Balenciaga’s boutique in Thurraya Complex. The printed and embroidered dress has a short tiered lampshade skirt attached to it. It doesn’t look that enticing on the hanger but I tried it on and I loooooved the way it moves.
