The Wedding Planner

Playing the role of a bride-to-be and a wedding planner at the same time is very tricky and very thin line "bridezilla-ish". So on your big day, you need to focus on looking pretty and leave the rest to the experts to take care of. In other words, hire a wedding planner. La Novia is a themed wedding and events planning service provided by two Kuwaiti sisters which started almost a year ago. Their main focus when planning for a wedding is to offer magical and breathtaking ambiance with beautiful lush flowers in every corner in a fairytale-like atomosphere. Here's a sample of their work.

La Novia is located at Zawya Center in Hawalli, Bin Khaldoun Street. Visit their Facebook group: La Novia for more photos. For any inquiries, please call (+965) 9900-5436 or 6600-0907, or you can send an e-mail to lanoviaweddings@hotmail.com.

shlon as3arhom? most of the wedding planners that i heard of are extremely over-priced. okay, they take care of everything and their work is organized and efficient but if i was mitfarqa ma 3indee watheefa chan 6ala3 minee shay nafs'hom aw a7san. so, did they inform you about their rates? is it fixed or does it depend on the ballroom/house/time of the event/etc.?

November in Tilal....
I had the worst experience ever with them. Unprofessional is the least I could say!! They demanded signing a contract without us getting a clear idea about the kosha design, and when we insisted on seeing a design, or at least getting a clear picture about how will the kosha look like, they did provide us with a design, and demanding signing the contract within 48 hours! If you needed to take a few days extra to think about the design, this translate to you being " too demanding" in their mind, and they will not do your wedding.
November, never again!!

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.

Amazing Alia

Several months ago I posted about Alia Designs , a Kuwaiti talented designer of traditional clothes and dresses. Back then, I liked one of the items featured on her website. This time I'm going ga-ga over her latest Ramadan collection of Kaftans and darraa'at! Especially the one shown here on the first picture. Looks very young, comfortable, and oh-so-perfect for after futoor! For inquiries please visit the website or call (+965) 642-7400.
