So guess where have I been to? Yup, Dubai Mall. The home to just about every major fashion and designer brand in the world. The mall is so huuuuge, equivalent in size to more than 50 soccer fields, The size of the shops reminded me of Las Vegas's malls in terms of space and variety.
According to their site, Dubai Mall features more than 1,200 stores and over 120 food & beverage outlets. Amongst its world-class attractions are: an Aquarium with its own indoor tunnel, an Olympic-size Ice Rink; and the world's largest indoor Gold Souk.

This is a glimpse of the Fashion Avenue, the one-stop shop for fashion enthusiasts in this region. It has over 70 stores/boutiques entirely dedicated to the biggest designer brands in high-end fashion, which I'll share with you tomorrow.
The flagship store of Galeries Lafayette in Paris has a branch at Dubai Mall. Product offering includes: Women, men and kids fashion, accessories, lingerie, cosmetics and fragrances, jewelry and watches, interior decoration. They had a nice selection of casual chic clothes from brands such as: Vanessa Bruno, Maje, Hoss Intropia, Manoush, Sandro, See by Chloe... and more.
I love the combo of snake skin shoes and neon yellow trimmed heels. Almost everything was on sale at Galeries Lafayette. Below is a photo of Givenchy s/s 2009 shoes section on 30% discount.
