Mini Me...

Every season for the past 4 years, and while looking for the "it" bag, My first condition was, it had to be big.. not 40" big.. but big as in "I-can-fit-MK-&-Ashley-with-some-room-for-Nicole" BIG. But lately, I'm loving the "Mini me" look. How adorable to wear you mini bag across your shoulders with your tiny mobile, some cash & plastic neatly tucked inside? And how fabulous if that mini bag was a Chanel like the golden one shown here (The bangles would be a bonus)? The key to that look is not to go overboard with your clothes. Just keep it simple chic with a pipeline cut jeans and a cropped jacket with white tank top. And Puuhleeease don't overstock the poor thing!

I love big bags and don't know if I can go back to cute little ones anymore. It's just more useful to have everything I need with me. I do love the Chanel.

Ansam yes but I feel like something is missing when I leave my big bags at home.

confashion change is good but then I get used to routine haha! Audrey Tatou is set to star as Coco Chanel. I don't know if I spelled her name correctly. She's the star of Amelie.

Audrey Tatou is such a cutie, I love her short haircut.. I think she'd impersonate Coco perfectly.

Magical Mode

As anyone who regularly reads Confashions may know, there are some designers I’ve been obsessed with for quite some time: one is the genius Erdem , the other is Nicholas Kirkwood , and Pierre Hardy . And because their designs are somehow easily accessible online and offline, I had the pleasure of featuring some of their creations and showing them the love they deserve. That said, there is one designer I’ve been particularly smitten with for quite some time. He has always been on the top of my favorite designers list ever since I was introduced to his designs by my fabulous fellow fashionisto Adnan Z Manjal   a couple of years back : Saudi designer Mohammed Ashi . I always wished I featured him more. I couldn’t because his pieces are very exclusive and as far as I know not stocked anywhere here. This clearly isn't just another post on my obvious love for Mohammed Ashi’s designs or the quality of his clothes as I have done that previously. Ashi simply deserves his very own epic p...

Altuzarra or Aquazzura?

That is the question. It took me a whole season to finally tell these two brands apart, and this season, there's no mistake, each brand is now engraved in my fashion database like a personalized Tiffany's pen. And this Resort 2015 season, I'm head over heels with their flats, on display now at AlOthman Boutique . Altuzarra's version comes in a tonal-gray water snake and are decorated with beige shells, red beads and silver sequins. Aquazzura's lace-up sandals come in a beautiful shade of apple green, and will work with white or bright colored casual summer outfit.  After much thought and sole-searching, I have decided to go for the  Altuzarra   sandals. They're safely stored in my closet, waiting for the dust and the cold to go away.  Which pair would you go for?

Miu Miu Pays Tribute to the Middle East

Everyone who knows me, knows that I have a soft spot for bag charms. They're fun, cute, and add a dose of irresistible character to your plain handbag. So when I got the news about Miu Miu paying tribute to the Middle Eastern culture by presenting an exclusive playful yet multifunctional accessories in luxurious precious skin, I got excited intrigued. The round-shaped charms has the Arabic alphabet, each piece presenting a letter design with metallic hues and vibrant colors. They're cute, nothing groundbreaking. I'm not sure if these bags charms would step up my bag charms game, but I guess it depends on their price tag and how "exclusively" exclusive they are. Maybe they'll grow on me? I don't know... What do you think? The charms should be available exclusively in  Miu Miu   Boutiques throughout our region.
