Confashions From Kuwait

I am thrilled to announce that Burberry   will be live streaming its Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2011 womensswear show live on Confashions . The show will take place tomorrow at 7:00 PM (Kuwait Local Time) from a new venue in London’s Royal Park of Kensington Gardens to over 150 countries online and at 40 live event.  Burberry   will be the first brand to ever live stream an event to the iconic digital Coca Cola screen at Piccadilly Circus in London.  You will be able to buy the runway collection immediately after the show for one week, bringing the  collection to you in 7 weeks.

It seems that this season I’ll be stocking on lots of yellows, one of my all-time favorite color. I spotted a number of pretty dresses (and a coat!?! From the s/s collection! Why?! Beats me!) at Red by Valentino   boutique in Salhiya Complex and Alice + Olivia in Aishti boutique at The Avenues.  OK, so let's start with the Blair Waldorf-ish Red Valentino overcoat with a cute bow detail. I loved it but I wasn't tempted to buy it at all!! Price tag? It's very common to see Arabic calligraphy and arabesque designs used on clothes and sometimes bags. But I've never seen such calligraphy on shoes and done sooo well. That's where Jordanian designer Anas Younis Shanaah comes in with his new shoes and bags label titled aennis eunis . Anas pursued his passion in the fashion and mode field at an early age. He obtained his degree in architecture and moved to Florence, Italy in 1992 where he worked closely with experts in leather goods. Then he moved to the New York, where he obtained his master degree from Pratt's Institute in industrial design and spent 15 years in NY working with famous designers, high-end retailers and fashion houses. In 2009, Anas established aennis eunis in his hometown where he found his inspiration in the elements surrounding him. I really liked these two particular designs and I find them to be so perfect  paired with  caftans or summery dresses.
